Winter, the season of introspection, beckons us to slow down, cozy up, retreat inward, and listen to the questions and yearnings of our heart. What is your deepest dream and vision for yourself this year?

My heart is full of gratitude and happiness for the students who took part in my 8-week small group yoga and meditation series last fall 2019. It was pure joy to witness everyone’s incredible mental and physical transformations during our practices. As promised to many who couldn’t make it during the weekdays last year, I am delighted to be offering the Winter Series in February on Saturdays this time!

  • Three Saturdays: 11am-3pm on Feb. 8th, 15th, and 22nd.
  • Office Studio: 219-55 E Cordova Street
  • Tuition: $180 +gst for all three classes ($65 +gst per drop-in if available)
  • Provided: Mats, meditation pillows, yoga props, tea & refreshments

Class Description:

The class is structured in a small group format and the space is held as non-judgmental and inclusive. Consistent attendance is strongly recommended for our progressive weekly practice. Each class is divided into equal parts of yoga and meditation, with time allocated to pair/group work as well as discussions on yoga philosophies.

The gentle yoga sequencing is designed to introduce the foundational Asana (poses) to the beginner students, with the focus placed on facilitating the body-mind integration, unwinding the nervous system, and improving stress-coping resiliency while building strength and flexibility. The meditation practice will introduce the basic skills to improve concentration through awareness cultivation, breathwork, mantra chanting, visualization, progressive muscle relaxation and yoga Nidra.
